HARLEY ALDEN MILLER
A memorial service for Harley Alden Miller of Newberg will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Free Methodist Church in Newberg. Private burial will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.

Mr. Miller died Monday in his home of complications arising from heart and kidney problems. He was 83.He was born Oct. 5, 1907, near Myrtle Point. He was a lifelong resident of Oregon.

Mr. Miller worked in the timber industry in Coos and Curry counties for many years. He moved to Newberg in 1962 and worked for Williams Air Controls in Tigard until his retirement in 1972. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Wilma; daughters, Linda Campbell of Vancouver, Wash., and Lois Hartman of Bismarck, N.D.; son, Wayne H. of Troy; brother, F. Ike of Myrtle Point; sister, Orvilla Zeller of Springfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the hospice program of Health Dynamics, 734 N. Baker St., McMinnville 97128.
