Samuel J. Hull


Samuel James Hull, 87, husband of Martha Gladhilll Hull of Hancock, HFD 2, died at Washington County Hospital Sunday afternoon after an illness of eight days.


Born in Washington County he was a son of the late Isaac and Susan Starliper Hull. He was employed by Fairchild Corp.


Mr. Hull was a member of the First Church of God, Orchard Ridge.


Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Leathie Shoemaker and Mrs. Elvie McConmick, both of Hancock Rt. 2, Mrs. Goldie Reed of Big Pool, Mrs. Mina Ritz of Hancock RFD1, Hager Hull of Hancock, RFD 2, Mrs. Fannie Trumpower of Big Pool, Lester Hull, Richard Hull, Mrs. Hazel Ray, Paul Hull, Helen McCarty, Harold Hull, Fiery Hull, all of Hancock, HFD 2, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Clear Spring; 5 grandchildren and 70 great grandchildren.


Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Services will be held at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William F. Murray and the Rev. Glen Winters officiating. Burial in Park Head E.U.B. Cemetery.
