Mr. Crossen, 87, Bolivar, died Wednesday at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, Bolivar. He was born in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Gail Walden Crossen Sr. and Helen Agnes Baumgartner Crossen.
He attended George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in civil engineering.
He spent his entire career working for the State of Wisconsin Highway Department.
Gail loved his family and was an outdoorsman. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes of the home; three sons, James Crossen and wife Christeen, state of Alaska, John Crossen and wife Kitti and David Crossen and wife Pam, all of state of Wisconsin; one daughter, Carol Yenter, state of Washington; and two stepdaughters, Mary Haer and husband Gary, Weston, and Kathleen Giamanaco and husband Charlie, Kirkwood; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Bolivar.
