Carolyn Denise Gonzalez
BORN: June 26, 2002
DIED: September 5, 2011
LOCATION: Round Rock, TX

On June 26, 2002 into this world was born a little girl. A bit too early and a bit too small, her struggles began the instant that she was born. And thus, her life has been one of many hospital visits with many specialists and nurses poking and prodding her little body in an effort to discover what ailed her. She was cursed with thousands of seizures and denied the simple pleasure of talking, walking and running. Despite all the challenges that she faced, she was undeterred in this life. Within her world, she was queen and bossed everyone around to change her music, feed her now or move her wheelchair along. Surrounded by those who truly loved her, she received all the attention and care a child could need or want. In the end, her mind and her body could not carry her spirit to the heights that she would have wanted. Gradually, Carolyn left us a little bit at a time. On the morning of Monday, September 5, 2011, Carolyn Denise Gonzalez surrounded by those who truly loved her, left this life for a better world after a long and stubborn fight with cerebral palsy. Her absence shall be felt deeply.

Carolyn is survived by her parents, brothers and a host of loving family.

Visitation and recitation of the Rosary will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Ramsey Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday September 8, 2011 at St. William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock West Drive, Round Rock, Texas. Burial will follow at Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are; Oscar J. Gonzalez, Jr., Jay Robert Gonzalez, Alex Aleman, Alberto Aleman, Luis Alberto Aleman and Antonio Aleman, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sammy’s House at www.sammyshouse.org or to the charity of your choosing. Sammy’s House was a special place for Carolyn and is a non-profit organization that provides services for children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally delayed.
