The remains of Prof J H Ford, who died at his home in Demorest, Ga, early Friday morning, reached Athens last night and are at the Dunbar-Dunaway Co funeral chapel awaiting the hour of interment at 9:30 o'clock this morning when a prayer service conducted by Rev Walter Anthony, pastor of the First Methodist church, will be held at the graveside in Oconee cemetery.
The pallbearers, Messrs E J Boudarant, H R Ritchie, D L Earnest, C D Campbell, G A Crabb and W D Hooper are requested to meet at the chapel on Washington street at 9:15 a.m. today.
