Pat (Jean Baptiste)Duperron
It is with heavy hearts that announce the sudden passing of Pat Duperron: companion, father, brother and friend to many. Pat will be greatly missed by his loving partner, Laurette Boucher, and her family who made his final years happy and special.Born in Plamondon, AB on May 8, 1924 to Arsene and Ida, Pat lived most of his life in the Peace River area. He was predeceased by his parents; Ida in 1965 and Arsene in 1973 and his son Craig in 2005. Married to Frances Craig in 1947, he was blessed with seven children.
Pat's life long occupation as a truck driver was passed on to all of his sons, who all enjoyed success in this vocation. With his daughters, he shared a love of music. Pat grew up in a busy, loving home with siblings who shared his love of music and song. His siblings and in-laws who predeceased him were; Emile, Rosalie, Isidore, Eleanor, Joseph, Irene, Bill, and Alphonse. Pat's love of life and easy-going manner will be greatly missed by all his brother, sisters, in-laws and their children. Prayers for Pat Dupperron will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (10405 99 St. Peace River, AB) on Thursday October 16, 2008 at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady Peace Catholic Church on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 1:30 pm.. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
