Evelyn Coon, 87, of 721 W. Highland Ave., died Monday in her home.
She was born March 15, 1895, in Gilberts, the daughter of Walter and Kathryn Lester.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Otto (Jeanne) Nagel of Geneva; a sister, Hazel Templeton of New Mexico; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besided her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, and a sister, Helen Seyller.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Stout Funeral Home, Elgin, the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
