Canova - Vincent J. "Moon" Canova, 85, died Dec. 26, 1999 in Jacksonville, FL, where he had resided most of his life. He had served his country in the Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict, and was retired from the U. S. Postal Service serving over 30 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge #221 and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Lois S. Canova; goddaughter, Frannell Henderson; nephew, Greg Odom; and 4 nieces, Mary Lind Watford, Anita Villar, Ann Anderson and Carolyn Hall. A Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 PM Thurs, Dec. 30, 1999, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow St. Mary's Section of Evergreen Cemetery.
