Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 4, 1993, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Smyrna Cemetery. James Cutts was the officiating minister.
Survivors include one son - Walter Sanderson, Sheffield; one sister - Myrtle West, Birmingham; two brothers - Victor Sanderson, Hamilton, and Joe Sanderson, Opelika; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren;
