Obituary of Marjorie Ruth Jordan

Marjorie Ruth Jordan, 88, of Gulfport, went to be with her Lord and Savior; on September 9, 2011 in Gulfport.

She was a native of Kosciusko, MS and a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 22 years. She was a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church and truly was an inspiration to others by sharing her Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas James Jordan; her parents, Solomon Bryan and Mattie Mae Mason; and her son, Bill W. Jordan.

She is survived by six sons and one daughter, Jim C. Jordan of Sacramento, CA, Ronald R. Jordan of Gulfport, MS, Donald D. Jordan of Charleston, SC, Barry Jordan of Sierra Vista, AZ, Michael V. Jordan of Gulfport, MS, and Melody A. Jordan-Kispert of Pensacola, FL; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 12:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
