Rachel Michelle was born in East Chicago, Indiana on July 16, 1968, the daughter of Sylvia (Curtis) Williams and the late Edward E. Williams. She attended grade school in Marysville, graduated from Manhattan High School and attended Kansas State University. After attending Kansas State University, she worked as a secretary for the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Rachel was an accomplished flutist, she enjoyed camping, fishing, canoe trips, and walking in the outdoors, and was also a volunteer for the Area Agency on Aging.
Rachel is survived by her son,Jacob Ryan Gee, of Junction City; her mother and step father, Sylvia & Allen Busby of Manhattan; three sisters, Jacquelyn William-Harris, wife of John Harris, of Fredericksburg, Virgina; Katie S. Williams, of Florida; Melissa C. Busby-Dunning, of Vidalia, Louisiana; six brothers, Edward E. Williams Jr., John C. Williams, husband of Mary Margaret of Mantee, Mississippi; G. David Williams, husband of Valerie of Covington, Georgia; Stephen A. Williams, of New Albany, Mississippi; Frank H. Williams, of Ocoee, Flordia; Matthew C. Busby husband of Julia of Wichita. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Rachel is preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Williams.
Funeral services will be held at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, at 10:3 0am on Friday, June 3rd, with Pastor Barbara Laflin officiating. Friends are invited to call Thursday 5:00pm to 8:00pm with family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
