Janet M. Abrams, 59, died Sept. 9, 2011, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.

Memorial services are Monday at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Macon. Burial will follow in Lynn Creek Cemetery near Brooksville.

Ms. Abrams was born June 25, 1952, in Macon, to Marie Cotton and the late Willie Joe Abrams. She was a graduate of Macon High School and received her master's degree in accounting from Mississippi State University. She worked for Bank First Financial Service and Noxubee County Board of Supervisors as a comptroller. She was a member of the McLeod Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Macon Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Macon Junior Auxiliary. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, B.J. Mason.

Memorials may be made to the Macon Presbyterian Church, 10501 Highway 145, Macon, MS 39341.
