H. L Earnheart was born in Mississippi, the son of M. M. Earnheart and was married to the former Miss Louise Douglass in Trenton, July 21, 1889. A native of Texas for about 70 years and of Sherman since 1911. He was a retired farmer and was in the grocery business in Trenton for a number of years before moving to Sherman. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He and his wife had three daughters. He died at his home, 314 West Jones, after an illness of two weeks.
