TYPHOID FEVER
LAYS LOW FAMILY;
SISTER STRICKEN
Edward Carre, aged 20 years, died at 11:45 Wednesday morning at the Miami Valley Hospital, after an illness of three weeks with typhoid I fever. A few weeks ago several in the family contracted the disease, and the mother died. The father, who was quite ill has almost entirely recovered, and a daughter is in a serious I condition condition in another ward of the hospital.
She does not know of the death of her brother.
The father Is grief-stricken over the death of his son, but for the sake of the other members of the family is bearing up well.
The remains will be taken to the family home. 42 Gold street, where the funeral will be held, but the arrangements have not been completed.
