DEACON JONATHAN CARTER
DEACON JONATHAN CARTER was born 20 May 1751 in Wolcott, CT. He died 6 Aug 1817. He served in the American Revolution and his name appears among the Memorialists, members of the 7th and 9th Companies of the 15th Regiment of the Connecticut Militia.

JONATHAN CARTER and his wife ABIGAIL MOULTHROUP CARTER had four children:

ASA CARTER b: Nov 13 1776
JOEL CARTER b: Dec 5 1778,
IRA CARTER b: May 4 1781
ELI CARTER b: Oct 5 1786, d: 9 Jun 1805
JONATHAN CARTER, along with his wife, ABIGAIL MOULTHROUP CARTER b: 1753 d: 13 Mar 1825, and son ELI CARTER are all buried in Hillside Cemetery, Route 47, Champion, NY.
