Mary B. Griffiths-(Bethel possibly middle name) was born 1805 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Parents are believed to be James & Mary B Griffiths. (based on a baptism record). She married Richard Clayton Hudson about 1830. They had seven children:
*George Walter Hudson (1833–1892)
*Mary Elizabeth Hudson (1834– )
*Richard G Hudson Jr. (1835–1914)
*Henrietta "Harriet" Hudson (1838–1879)
*Robert Hudson (1840– )
*Caroline "Carol" E. Hudson (1841–1927)
*Thomas Hudson (1845–1860)

According to Cypress Hills Cemetery, Mary's body was removed from Cypress Hills Cemetery and taken to Baltimore for burial.
