Ralph "Durwood" Craft, 78 of Brandon MS, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Crossgates River Oaks in Brandon MS.
Funeral services will be held at Tuesday at Meadow Grove Baptist Church on Hwy. 18 in Brandon MS and burial will be in Dry Creek Baptist Cemetery with other family members in Magee MS. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee MS will be in charge of arrangments.
Durwood had served with honor in the U.S. Army as an M.P. and later, was a tool and dye maker by trade and a loving husband and father.
He married Fannie Eudell Hall on Feb. 5, 1954 in Magee, Simpson Co. MS, that lasted 57 years.
Preceded in death include parents Alonzp Franklin Craft and Fannie Bell Cockrell Craft, siblings, Nuel Donald Craft, and Letha Jean Craft Fletcher, and a son, Jerry Donald Craft.
Survivors include his wife; Udell Hall Craft of Brandon MS.
Sons; Dennis Ralph Craft, Ronald Dale Craft.
Brothers; Gayther Craft, Murl Craft of Riverside CA.
Sister; Velma Anderson, of CA
Grandchildren; Brandy(Jay)Gibson, Cristi(Wayne)Eubanks, Justin Craft, Nicki Craft, Tosha M. Craft, and Ronnie A. Craft.
Great-grandchildren; Carter, Gracie, and Jack Gibson, Issac and Natalie Welborn, Addyson and Bentley Steed
