Theo Lynton McCluney, 72, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000 in Corsicana. Services will be 4 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Andrews, Chad Bingham, Ron German, Ronnie Harrison, Steve Eddie Harrison and Randy McCluney. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Andrews, W. L. "Bubba" Andrews, Jimmy Hawkins and J. B. "Beryl" Prestidge. Mr. McCluney was born Sept. 2, 1928 in Ennis. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Corsicana and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a printer. Mr. McCluney is survived by his wife, Peggy McCluney of Corsicana; sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Nikki McCluney and Michael and Leslie McCluney, all of Corsicana; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Don Lane of Hillsboro and Terry and Don Whitener of Arlington; sister, Mickey Harrison of Ennis; brother and sister-in-law, Torchy and Mary Evelyn McCluney of Ennis; five granddaughters, Alysa Lane of Hillsboro, Brittni and Jordan McCluney of Corsicana, and Haley and Hillary Whitener of Arlington; and two grandsons, Garrett Lane of Hillsboro and Dalton McCluney of Corsicana.
