Robert, 82, of Jackson passed away Monday at Allegiance Hospice House.
Surviving are his daughter, Lori Barnhouse of Jackson; son, Michael Barnhouse of Grass Lake; sisters-in-law, Ruth Barnhouse of Parma and Sophie Piniewski of Jackson; special friend Ginny Waters of Jackson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Irene; sisters, Charlotta Wilson and Lois Barnhouse; brothers, William Barnhouse and Richard Barnhouse.
Robert was a retiree of Kelsey-Hayes and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was an avid gardener, euchre player, woodworker and a fan of all Michigan teams including the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings and U of M.
He was at the Lauer Family Funeral Home in Jackson. A vigil service was held Wednesday. A Prayer Service was held on Thursday.
Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel.
