Obiyuary: Sean M. Allen, Age 45 of Plainfield passed away on September 9, 2011 from a year long battle with Brain Cancer. Sean leaves his loving family & friends, who will always carry his memory in their hearts. Sean was very family oriented and everything he did was for his family. He enjoyed playing golf and watching his kids play soccer. He loved to go camping and was in charge of keeping the fire burning. His children will always carry his legacy with them. Sean was born on August 31, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio to Duane and Barbara (Hale) Allen. He married Melanie Vannoy on May 2, 1997. She survives. He worked in the Collections Department for Comcast Cable Co. for 15 years.
Calling hours will be on Monday Sept. 12, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield. Funeral services will be on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Shawn Tully officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Plainfield.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years Melanie D. Allen. Children: Garrett Duane Allen, Cody James Miracle, Kaitlyn Marie Rook, Megan Irene Allen and Jasmine Dawn Miracle. Mother: Barbara L. (Hale) Allen. Brother: Michael D. Allen and Wife Anna. Sister: Kristen L. Allen. Nephews: Matthew and Clayton and Niece Lexi. He was preceded in death by his father Duane Allen.
