Mrs. Carl Pagel, 1222 Steele St., Algoma, suffered a fatal heart attack at her home Friday. Her death, at the age of 74, occurred at 9:30 p.m. She was in ill health five years.
The former Mathilda Moenig, Mrs. Pagel was born at Manitowoc Jan. 24, 1895, and attended public school. Prior to her marriage, she was emplyed by Manitowoc Seed company and Tinsel company.
Her marriage to Carl Pagel occurred at Manitowoc Aug. 17, 1918 and the couple moved to their present address in 1937.
They celebrated their golden wedding in August, 1968.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Ruth) Pavlik, Algoma; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ray Handy, Manitowoc.
