Funeral for Andy W. "Pop" Jarman, 80, of Amber, will be held at 9:30am, Friday, 2/23/1996, in the Sowers Memorial chapel, Tuttle.
He was born 10/21/1915 in Seminole, the son of Andrew Richard & Polly Ann (Avants) Jarman, and died Monday, 2/19/1996, in Amber. Mr Jarman moved to the Amber area in 1929, with his parents. He farmed until 1954, and moved to Amber in 1956. He worked for the Co-Op Grain Mills in Minco and Tuttle until his retirement from Mid-Continent Co-Op in 1981. He and Eveline Padgett were married 10/13/1940 in Minco. She preceded him in death in 1984. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Richard & Curtis Jarman.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Irma McBride of Amber, Ruthie Gore of Tuttle, Charlene Mahan of Texas, & Patricia Kuhlman of Choctaw, 1 son, Charles Jarman of Norman, 1 sister, Estella McKelvey of Woodsboro, TX, 1 brother, Robert Jarman of Joliet, ILL, 8 grandchildren, & 7 great grandchildren. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.
