Daughter of Ezekiel Samuel Green and Camilla Birdwell.

Note that even though her husband Alexander Cobb Lindsey stated on her death certificate that Mary Ann was born 11 October 1862, he also stated that she was 80 years, 8 months, and 15 days old when she died on 26 June 1942 — and that yields a birthdate of 11 October 1861. Most federal censuses show her born in 1861. The 1900 census states explicitly that she was born in October 1861.
