Marie C. Bartlett, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Monday May 25, 2009 at the Whetstone Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 1, 1926 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Herman and Louisa (Balderson) Walter. Marie was a member of the Morris Grange, First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon and was a 4-H advisor for over 15 years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Dick) VanMeter of Columbus, Ohio, Carolyn (Angelo) Pezzullo of Niagara Falls, Canada and two grandchildren, Michael and Justin Pezzullo.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Daniel Bartlett, a daughter, Sandra Kreiling, two grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Goff, three brothers, Roy, Robert and Avery Walter, two sisters, Doris Michaels and Inez Fleshman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, 33 E. College Street, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 where friends may call from Noon to 2 PM. Rev. Bob Hendrix will be officiating. Burial will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
