The funeral services of James W. Adams were held from the Presbyterian church on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Chas. Bell of Ellwood City, Rev. A.R. Porter and K.C. Hays officiated. Mr. Adams was born and raised in Mercer county, but had been a resident of Pulaski form many years, where he was engaged in business until recently, when he went to Ellwood. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Holibaugh on October 1, 1882, who with one son, J.C. Adams, of Ellwood City, survive. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and F. and A.M. and K.O.T.M. lodges, F. and A.M. attending in body and holding special services at the cemetery. The many beautiful floral tributes showed the esteem in which Mr. Adams was held. Interment was made in Pulaski cemetery and the pallbearers were E.L. Ayers, C.C. Boyd, Chas. Fischer, E.C. Lostetter, L.L. Rodgers, C.C. Clark. Among those present from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Turner, Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Douthett and children of New Castle, Mrs. Scott Ediburn, Mr. and Mrs. James Foreman, Mrs. Neva Allen and Messrs. Selbey, Dunlap, Garrett, Tate, Thompson, Bateman, Phipps, Ediburn, Mitchell, Risher and Clark of West Middlesex. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Feree and Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Clark, Mrs. Chas Hicks, Jeff Milton of Ellwood City, Mr. and Mrs. William Riblett of New Castle, Freeman Holibaugh of Greenville, and John Holibaugh of Sharon.
