ArmellaRynda, 71, of New Prague, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.

Armella was born April 22, 1931 in New Prague to Theodore T. Holzer and Rose Busch. She was raised in rural Helena Township and attended school in Scott County District 33, Helena Township, and New Prague High School. Armella was a nurses aide at Queen of Peace Hospital until she married E. Roger Rynda on Oct. 13, 1956 at St. Benedict, Minn.

Armella was a former member of CCW, a member of Catholic Aid; degree of honor, and former Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include husband, Dr. E. Roger Rynda of New Prague, daughters, Patricia A. (Gilbert) Barlage of Montgomery, Ann E. Rynda of Maple Grove; sons, Luke R. (Faustina) Rynda of Ridgecrest, Calif., Roger T. (Valerie) Rynda of Minden, Nev.; four grandchildren; brother Lanny (Theresa) Holzer of Jordan.

Armella was preceded in death by parents and brother, Roman Holzer.

Visitation was held at Bruzek Funeral Home, New Prague on Sunday, Dec. 1, 4-8 p.m. with the rosary at 6:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial was on Monday, Dec. 2, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, New Prague with the Rev. George Freeman presiding. Pallbearers included Matthew Barlage, Christopher Barlage, David Holzer, Mark Holzer, Peter Holzer, and Marty Pekarna. Interment at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, New Prague.
