Mr. Jeff Nichols of Central,(now called Central City), Arkansas, died Sunday afternoon, following a long illness. He was 47 years old. Mr. Nichols was a lifelong resident of Central and was a furniture maker employee. Mr. Nichols was the son of J.O. Nichols. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Mae Nichols; 1 son: Louis Jefferson Nichols; his fahter; 2 sisters: Mrs. Clore Simmons and Mrs. Clara French. He was of the Methodist faith. Funeral service was held on Tuesday at 10:30am at Central Methodist Church. Rev. Elmer Matloch officated the services. "Southwest Times Record. Fort Smith, Arknasas. 5 Jul. 1954."
