The funeral is at 11:00 am today, Wednesday, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Bloomberg officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Vivian Martin, Charles Fahler, Thomas Lucas, James Harris, James Rollins and Allen Munson.
Visitation was from 4-8 pm, Tuesday at Merritt Funeral Home with a Masonic Service at 8 pm.
Mr. Robeson was born Feb 10, 1915 in Zion to the Rev John and Lettie (Armitage) Robson. He married Mary Merkel Smith in Mendota on June 22, 1957.
He was a bookkeeper with Fahler Oil Co., until his retirement in 1968 and drove a school bus for many years. he was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota American Legion, of which he was past commander, 40th 8 Branch of the Legion, Masonic Lodge, Bethany Commander, Royal Arch Masons and Men's Garden Club. He served in the US Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, one son John of Mendota, one brother Harold (Bud), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two step daughters, Mrs. Ray (Kay) Quinlan of Princeton and Mrs. James (Edna) Miller of Mendota.
He was preceded in death by this parents and one brother in infancy.
Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church or the heart and lung association
