Yaple Services to be Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. George L. Yaple, 62, former prominent
Fort Wayne resident who died of heart disease at 3:45 o'clock
Tuesday morning at a Chicago sanitarium, will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at Klaehn & Sons Funeral Home, Dr. George
William Allison officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
The body will arrive from Chicago at 6:30 o'clock tonight and will
be taken to the funeral home.
Mrs. Yaple was prominent in club and civic activities here and
was resident secretary of the Y.W.C.A. before moving to Adams
Lake several years ago. She had been making her home in
Chicago with her daughter, Miss Ellen Yaple for some time. She
was a daughter of the late E. H. and Ella W. MacDonald, pioneer
Fort Wayne residents. Her husband died in 1918.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Ellen Yaple of Chicago and
Miss Elizabeth Yaple of New York City and two brothers, Donald
McDonald of Cleveland, O., and George P. McDonald of Toledo, O.
