HESSTON — M. Jane Duerksen, 77, passed away on Wednesday (Sept. 14, 2011) at Pine Village/Memorial Home in Moundridge.
She was born on June 20, 1934, in Topeka, the daughter of Neil and Isabelle Adams Curry. She had worked as an LPN for 45 years and was a past member of the Inter Mennonite Church of Hesston.
On March 15, 1957, she married Leroy Duerksen in Winchester. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, David of Sedgwick, Kevin of Newton and Jon of Newton; one daughter, Laurie Duerksen of Hesston; one brother, Bruce Curry; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Miller-Ott Funeral Home Chapel in Hesston, with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Hesston City Cemetery.
