She was the daughter of the Burton and Helen (Brummin) LaMoore, Martha was a graduate of the Wayne Valley High School class of 1966. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Acker had worked more than 35 years as a crossing guard for the Stillwater Board of Education. Martha enjoyed crochet arts and crafts.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 43 years, her two sons, her two daughters, her nine grandchildren, as well as her three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two sisters
Funeral services were held at Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home and Entombment in the St. Joseph R.C. Church Mausoleum, Newton, NJ.
