Glenn Beard was a P51 pilot during World War II and an Air Force pilot during the Korean conflict. He spent 20 years as a fighter pilot flying 23 different types of aircraft and also served in Vietnam. He retired in 1968 from the Air Force as a major. Mr. Beard was a member of the Air Force Association and the Retired Officers Association.
