Mr. McCormick was the husband of the former Miss Lora Gove of Muncie and the brother of Myron McCormick, Albany, who is playing a leading role in the New York production of "South Pacific." He was born in Albany, the son of Walter P. and Bessie Nixon McCormick, and was graduated from Central High School. He served as an Army officer in World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had lived in Arcadia for six years.
Surviving besides the wife and brother is the mother, also of Arcadia; three sons, Walter, Robert, and David, and a sister, Marjoria, of Temple City, Calif.
