Layton Crouse, 75, of Graysville R.D.1, was dead on arrival Thursday, March 18, 1976, at the Greene County Memorial Hospital due to a heart attack.

Mr. Crouse was born June 22, 1900, in Center Township, a son of the late Cam and Ella Rock Crouse.

He spent most of his life in West Greene area and was a retired farmer. He was also employed at the Oakdale Boys Home, Oakdale. He was a Protestant by faith.

Surviving are his widow, Iva (sic) Breese Crouse of Graysville, whom he married May 11, 1927; two sons, Howard Crouse of Sycamore and Roy Crouse of Weisbandon (sic), Germany; six grandchildren; four brothers, Lawrence Crouse of Sycamore, James Crouse of Nineveh, Theodore Crouse of Holbrook, and Walter Crouse of Sarasota, Fla.; and six sisters, Mrs. Sarah Grossman of Waynesburg, Mrs. Helen Haines of Sarasota, Fla (sic), Mrs. John (Kathleen) Hammond of California, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Meighen of Lagonda, Mrs. Ronald (Carolyn) Lemley of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Robert (Louise) Anderson of Sycamore.

A son Ernest Crouse is deceased.

CROUSE - Friends of Layton Crouse of Graysville R.D.1, who died Thursday, March 18, 1976, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert L. Lantz Funeral Home, Rogersville, where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21. Burial in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.
