By March of 1893 her family moved to Crawford, Arkansas where she met and married John Terrell Pope. Their only living child, Alma Lagusta Pope was born in 1894 in Alma, Crawford County, Arkansas. Sometime later the family relocated to Oklahoma. Prior to 1930, she and John T. Pope divorced and she remarried to a man by the last name of Stone. She was a wonderful woman, full of life and a joy to be around.
