HARRISONBURG (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Dunlap Sones, 85, of Baton Rouge, were at 10 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Jack Cruse and the Rev. Watkins officiating.

Burial was in Rosefield Cemetery in Rosefield under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.

Mrs. Sones died Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at the home of her daughter in Baton Rouge after a long illness. A native of Harrisonburg, she had lived in Baton Rouge for the past seven years.

Survivors include two sons, Coy Guyon, Rosefield [and William Alfred Guyon (not named)]; three step-sons, Whitney and Jack Sones, both of Houston, Tex., and Tom Sones, West Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. Addie Mae Leachman, Dubach, Mrs. Pearl Wolf, Lubbock, Tex., Mrs. Henrietta Gregory, Blythe, Calif., and Mrs. Viva King, Baton Rouge; five step-daughters, Mrs. Dollie McGuffee, Mrs. Ruth Chapman, Mrs. Alice McGuffee, all of Enterprise, Mrs. Voilet [sic? Violet] Raines, Shreveport, and Mrs. Fannie Guyon, Kelly; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
