Obituary from the Shreveport Times newspaper, Apr. 26, 1971, Monday, p. 2:

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery for Robert L. Arnold, 56, of Tyler, Tex., who died at 10:45 p.m. Friday at the VA Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Arnold was retired from the Army and was a native of Omen, Tex.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Blackwell of Amarillo, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Stewart of Houston and Mrs. Annie A. Sparkman of San Jose, Calif.; six brothers, Thomas N. Arnold and Ernest B. Arnold, both of Tyler, Henry H. Arnold of Nampa, Idaho, Grady Arnold of Maybank, Tex., Jimmy L. Arnold of Dallas and I. D. Arnold of Germany; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
