Leila Monretta Warren was the daughter of Jesse Alonzo Warren and Marian May Ada Waldrep.She was born in 1885 in Columbia Co. FL. She was the second of 9 children. As a young woman, she taught school and also piano lessons. She married Julian Charles Pritchard in 1907. The couple moved to Jacksonville where JC built houses and later worked for the city. She was a faithful member of the Riverside Baptist Church. She was the mother of 4 children Morris, Margaret, Marcus and JC jr.( died as an infant). She was a loving mother and faithful wife; quiet in manner, tireless, industrious and generous. She reared 3 children to be responsible and respected adults and was loved by all her family. She was the grandmother of seven including singer/actor Pat Boone.
