He was a member of the Brethren Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Crystal Baker, Muncie; two sons, Edwin L. Richey, Cambridge City, and Ralph L. Richey, Muncie; and six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. W. Carl Rarick officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Eaton. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 p.m. Sunday or prior to services Monday.
