Charles L. Richey, 99, 2816 S. Walnut St., died early Saturday morning at Faulkner Rest Home. He was born in Delaware County and lived here all his life.
He had worked in oil fields here and later was employed by Union Traction Co., Ball Corp., Muncie Products, and Warner Gear.
He was a member of the Brethren Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Crystal Baker, Muncie; two sons, Edwin L. Richey, Cambridge City, and Ralph L. Richey, Muncie; and six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. W. Carl Rarick officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Eaton. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 p.m. Sunday or prior to services Monday.
