Obituary:

Robert Frank Pospishil was born in Cumming county, Nebraska, February 25, 1884, and departed this life at the home of his parents in Benton county, Arkansas. He was the only son of Frank and Martha (Reeson) Pospishil.

He came to Russell county with his parents in 1887 when a mere babe, and the community of Luray was ever after his home. He was a steady-going, industrious young man; a man of strict integrity and good business acumen. He had already entered upon a successful business career and gave promise of becoming one of the most successful citizens when he was stricken.

From his many years of residence in Luray, he had a wide acquaintance, and all who knew him were his friends.

Funeral services were held from the Luray M.E. church. Following the service the Odd Fellows ritualistic service was used. Robert was an honored member of the local I.O.O.F. lodge. Interment was made in the local cemetery.

Robert's obituary was published by the Luray paper and can be obtained in its entirety through the local historical society.
