Brittany "Ally" Harbuck, 19, died Monday. Born in Ft. Belvoir, VA, Ally lived all of her life in the Savannah area. She was a graduate of Effingham County High School, a freshman at Georgia Southern University and a member of Gamma Ro Lambda Sorority.

A talented writer, Brittany was on the staff of the "George Ann" at Georgia Southern and was a member of the Georgia Southern Chapter of NOW. Survivors include her parents, David and Debi Harbuck of Savannah; her maternal grandmother, Marylyn Carey of Savannah; her paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Sandra and Phillip Roach of Conyers; her paternal grandfather and step-grandmother Joseph and Marie Harbuck of Savannah; her maternal great-grandmother, Nicoletta Talmadge of Savannah; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
