SHELDON MAN DIES
Lloyd Robert Ray, 80, resident of Sheldon, died Friday at the Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, where he had been a patient for the past four months.
He was born April 24, 1881, at Dunnegan, the son of Robert and Mary Ellen Ray. On Dec. 24, 1902, he was married at Dunnegan, to Minnie Etta Gannaway, who is deceased.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Waters of Parsons, Kan., Mrs. Sarah Wiseman, Kansas City and Mrs. Ruby Wright of Nevada; one son, Raymond Ray of Sheldon; one sister, Mrs. Stella Gannaley, Dunnegan; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral time is tentatively set for Monday at the Beeny Funeral Home in Sheldon and burial will be in the Sheldon cemetery.
