Mrs. C. W. Spalding Dies; Funeral Scheduled Tomorrow
Mrs. Charles W. Spalding, 74, died at 9:25 a.m. today at Herod Nursing home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Robert C. Patterson is to officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
The body is to remain at Gerard Funeral home until the hour of the service.
Mrs. Spalding was born July 30, 1876, daughter of the late Dr. Alfred T. Drake and Mary Wiley Drake.
She was married Feb. 2, 1898, to Charles W. Spalding, who survives with one daughter, Mrs. Glee T. Hillis, and two sons, Jesse D. and Charles A. Spalding; three sisters, Mrs. Arch McFarland, Mrs. Bettie Drake Miller and Mrs. P.L. Dent, all of Bowling Green.
