A memorial family liturgy for Roger L. Estep, 67, of Georgetown, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at St., Mary's Lanesville Catholic Church. The family has chosen cremation. He died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at his home.. He was a native and former longtime resident of Proctor, W. Va., and was the co-owner and operator of the old Candlelight Restaurant and Lounge in New Martinsville, W. Va. He was born Oct. 24, 1943, to the late John and Grace Blake Estep and raised his three daughters in Proctor. He moved to Okeechobee, Fla., where he was a founding member of the Eagle's Lodge and was a truck driver until his retirement in 2006. He later moved to Georgetown.. Survivors include three daughters, Jill Schaftlein and her husband, Danny, of Georgetown, Julie Price and husband, Darrell, of Anderson, S.C., and Gina Lamet Wagner and husband, Bruce, of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Curtis, Kristina, Andrew, Nick, and Zack; two sisters, Mary Deoliveira, of Massachusetts, and Diane Smith and husband Dave, of West Virginia.. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany.. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus/Hospice of Southern IN., 624 E. Market St. New Albany, IN 47150.
