Obituary
Doris Ann Brandt of Owensville formerly of Rosebud, departed this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home of Owensville. She had reached the age of 83 years, three months, and 16 days.

Doris was born in Rosebud, Missouri on July 2, 1933 a daughter of the late Oscar and Frieda (Block) Wehmeyer. Doris was united in marriage on September 8, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud to Norman Brandt. Doris worked for many years as the secretary at Beaufort Transfer. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosebud.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Norman Brandt.

She is survived by two daughters; Rhonda Wehmeyer and husband Michael of Oakville, Missouri and Vicki Heidbrink of Rosebud; one brother, Herb Wehmeyer of Moraga, California; two sisters; Edith Walters of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Darlene Meyer of Arnold, Missouri; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
