Services for William "Bill" "Doc" Floyd will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Whinery Huddleston Funeral Chapel, with Troy Todd, officiating.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Whinery Huddleston Funeral Services.

Bill was born November 23, 1927 in Ringling, OK to William Robert and Mary Ethel Titsworth Floyd. In 1948, he married Margie Moyer in Gainsville, Texas. Together in 1965, they opened Bill's Auto Upholstery. They overcame a lot and made beautiful memories together. Bill was even able to recover from 2 major heart surgeries. He was an avid fisherman. He built his own boathouse and caught a 56lb catfish at Lake Lawtonka. He was a big fan of Dallas Cowboys' football and Atlanta Braves baseball. He loved hunting, camping, wood working and traveling. Bill was a member of Park Lane Church of Christ.

Bill Floyd passed away October 9, 2018 in Lawton, OK, surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel Floyd, 5 sisters, Jay Durbin, Florence Guin, Eunice Stockton, Jonnie Ramsuer and Bonnie Paul and 3 brothers, W.R. Floyd, G.B. Floyd and John Thomas Floyd. Bill is survived by his daughter and son in law, Shelia and Robert Wood of Indiahoma; his sons, Robert and Denise Floyd, Randy and Cindy Floyd and Mark and Teresa Floyd all of Lawton; his grandchildren, Lisa and Duane Miller, Amy and Michael Kern both of Indiahoma, Misti and Troy Todd of Burkburnett, Tx, Brian and Holley Floyd of Lawton, Jason Floyd of Edmond, Justin Floyd, Tanner Floyd and Colton Floyd, all of Lawton; and 17 great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a very special Thank you to the nurses and staff of Aspire Hospice!
