Florence Louise Lewter, 95, died Friday in the Gainesville Convalescent Center after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 8, 1884 in Dexter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tinsley. She was the widow of Walter Lewter.

Survivors are daughters, Hazel Mask and Lola Paschal; son Grady Lewter; brother Paul Tinsley; sister Maggie Harrison; 4 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
