SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - Former Great Falls resident Donald Charles Ackerman, 73, of Sand Springs, Okla., a retired master mechanic and Army and Air National Guard veteran who loved to turn wrenches and "play" on the computer, died of a heart attack Wednesday, Sept. 14, at a veterans' hospital in Muskogee, Okla.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years; three sons; and six grandchildren.
