Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002, at the Walker-Nadler Chapel in Lexington; burial in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Lexington First Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association.

John was born July 19, 1940, in Corder, MO. He worked at Lake City Munitions Plant as a warehouseman and had worked as a deputy for the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. He married Joyce Arth on July 7, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Eastabrooks, of the home, and sister, Nancy A. Eastabrooks, Lexington, MO.
