Funeral services for Wilma Evelyn Willoughby were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1996 at the First United Methodist Church at 1515 Edgar St., Rock Springs. The Rev. Bill Bruce officiated. Interment was in the Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Carl V. Blanksvard, Carl A. Blanksvard, Ron Niemi, Delbert Comstock, Sean McGarvey, Gary Slaugh, Bill Dolenc and Brennon Ashley.

Mrs. Willoughby, 59, of 401 Cottonwood St., Rock Springs, died at 12:34 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 1996 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Willoughby died following a brief illness.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1936, in Ganado, Texas, the daughter of the late Emil and Edna Bodungen Cihal. Mrs. Willoughby married Robert Donald Willoughby Sr. on Aug. 26, 1953 in Ganado. She attended schools in Ganado.

Mrs. Willoughby was a cafeteria supervisor at Yellowstone School in Rock Springs, at the time of her death. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Donald Willoughby Sr. of Rock Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Donald Jr. and Ann Willoughby of Rock Springs; two daughters, Debra Lynn Willoughby of Rock Springs and Kimberly Ann Willoughby of Denver; one brother, Willard Cihal of Ganado, and two sisters, Doris Fowler and Dorothy Connor, both of Ganado; two grandsons, Robert Donald Willoughby III of Rock Springs and Nathan John Willoughby of Denver; one granddaughter, Crystal Marie Willoughby of Rock Springs; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Willoughby was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Pamela K. Willoughby; two brothers, Ervin Cihal and one who died in infancy and one sister, Lillian Jones.
